Dammit! You made me buy this damn monitor 🤦♂. I was looking at the Dell U2723QE , HP Z27k G3 , Lenovo P27u-20 or a decent pair of 4k monitors and the dell HD22Q dock. After several days of researching i was ready to pull the trigger on the Dell and skip the dock idea because it has a rather large AC adapter. I’m glad I clicked on your video because I had already looked at Asus’s site and saw the PA279CV but missed the CRV model somehow. It must be a popular model or Asus didn’t make enough because everyone seems to be out of stock. I ended up paying about $50 more and ordered a pair directly from Asus, fingers crossed they have it and they arrive in good condition. Thank for your video, this monitor checks all my boxes and is over $100 less than the Dell.

I`m buying this monitor for work and I think that its perfect decision…but I`m sceptic because it have only 60Hz so I don`t know how good it is for some lite gaming. I do have very strong PC for playing games in 4k but if I have barrier on just seeing 60FPS I don`t know how will it look…

Folks shopping for a "Budget" monitor don’t need to spend $500 on a 60hz IPS monitor which in 2023 is nothing special. There will be backlight bleed on most samples shipped out to normal consumers, the 60hz refresh rate in 2023 is a disgrace. You can get a good IPS 4k monitor for far less than the price of this one which you can spend a few more dollars to calibrate it yourself and get a pretty accurate colors as IPS panels have pretty good colors when compared to their TN/VA counterparts. Heck you will be better off with a 27" 120hz/144hz IPS QHD monitor which brings down the price furthermore while giving you those smoother refresh rates which you will definitely notice and appreciate when working longer hours from home.
